About the Volunteer Exchange

The Volunteer Exchange has been set up to bring schools and volunteers together. We are developing case studies, please click here for further information.

What can the Volunteer Exchange do for schools?

We have identified a need in local schools; they have exciting projects they wish to pursue in their grounds and need additional support to get them started. This scheme will help schools achieve their goals by helping them find the manpower to move their initiatives forward. Have a look at our case studies to see how it helped two local schools.

What can the Volunteer Exchange do for local business?

We are looking for local companies to register with the scheme and invest their employee’s time in the local area. Some schools will only need a few volunteers and others will be looking for larger work parties. The work is varied and may involve digging, weeding or cutting back overgrown bushes. You could help make a real difference in your local community.
